Recently found a bunch of old cassettes with various bands I’ve been in over the years. Found quite a few tunes that Doug wanted URONEPROG to play as well. Which we never got to, due to his passing over 25 years ago. I get very emotional listening to old tunes, especially with him playing keyboard. He was not only a good keyboardist, but a good friend and motivator behind our tunes. After updating some of his tunes and producing them in a way I believe would make Doug amazed at the new technology and proud of how his tunes were re-imagined while keeping the overall structure the same, I decided to share these for now, until my brain cloud lifts and I know what to do with them. A couple more to add soon, for now it’s just 2 of them “Eleven Eight” which is a time signature we both loved and “March of Time” which is the not the original name. Sadly, it turns out that most of his collection of lyrics etc was stolen from a storage place in California. Because it needed stealing or something. Oh well. There might be backups somewhere which is being looked into. I have copies of his live playing stored in various files and of cassettes for now. So until I add more, take a listen. They are emotional to me. It was hard to make these versions. But hey, no fear. Gotta keep going.
